Adele Poynter is the Executive Director and chairs the Management Team.

Ms Poynter joins the Geo Centre with 30 years experience in business and economic development. She has worked locally, nationally and internationally with all levels of government as well as with the private sector and private foundations. Adele earned her BSc (Honours) in Geology from Memorial University, and completed an MSc in Resource Management and Economics from the University of Canterbury, Christchurch, New Zealand. Her strong work history in strategy development, marketing and partnerships will also be invaluable in her leadership of GEO’s future.
