‘The Quest for Energy in NL: The long trail from Parsons Pond to Hibernia’ will highlight the history of Oil and Gas exploration both onshore and offshore Newfoundland representing over 150 years from the time between the first onshore well in 1867 up to first oil of Hibernia in 1997. Larry Hicks with the NL Department of Natural Resources (DNR) and Harry Klassen from the Canada Newfoundland and Labrador Offshore Petroleum Board (CNLOPB) will be presenting.
