About the Speaker:
Photo 2017-10-24, 3 23 17 PMBethany Downer, born and raised in St. John’s, just completed the M.Sc. program at the International Space University as one of forty selected worldwide. Since leaving Newfoundland for Europe, Bethany has worked with the European Space Agency, the Mars Generation, and the Space Generation Advisory Council for the United Nations’ Programme on Space Applications. She currently works in the areas of science and technology communication and content production for public outreach, education, and strategy development.
